Anitra Gayle Louis was born in Charlotte, North Carolina. Four years after completing her undergraduate work at Greensboro College in Greensboro, North Carolina she married her college sweetheart, Paul Louis (native to Wilmington, North Carolina) on May 19, 2007 at her home church in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

The wedding business was also a family business and Anitra has had the opportunity to work and participate in many weddings in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia. Working as Wedding Coordinator for MyCarolinaWeddings.com has allowed her to combine two things she loves: weddings and writing. Anitra loves writing (and reading) so much that she has been able to shape it into a career.
