My name is Christine Glarrow-Velasquez and I’m a 24-year-old wedding coordinator. I’ve been involved in event planning as far back as I can remember, helping my mom plan events of all sizes and styles when I was a child. I love sharing what I’ve learned from both my own experience as a bride, as well as working with numerous brides, bridesmaids and families of brides.

I attended San Jose State University where I received my Bachelors of Science in Journalism and Mass Communications with an emphasis in Reporting and Editing. I also received my minor in Recreation with a focus on Event Coordination. Writing about weddings combines both of my fields of study along with my two career passions so MyCarloinaWedding.com is a dream come true.

While I love everything to do with weddings and other large events (as well as sharing ideas through articles) my other interests include exercising, baking, dogs, travel, singing and listening to music, bargain hunting/consignment store shopping and laughing with family.

Something else that I truly adore: the South and all its charm. To me, the Carolinas are two of the most beautiful states in the country…which is why I’ve chosen to live here and hope you choose to wed here!
