Extreme weight loss goals
Post Extreme weight loss goals

I've talked to bride after bride and it seems that they always hope to lose a substantial amount of weight by their wedding day. I completely understand wanting to look and feel your best on one of the biggest days of your life. But it seems that brides will set goals that are very difficult to attain, during a period of time when you're already feeling the pressure of planning.

In my experience, exercise and (somewhat) healthy eating was part of my normal routine. So, I decided that I wasn't going to stress out about trying to drop a certain number of pounds or dress sizes. In fact, I did just he opposite. For me, chocolate is a stress reliever. So, I let myself indulge in M&Ms throughout my entire engagement, including the days surrounding my dress fittings!

I made a decision to accept my body leading up to my wedding day, as I had any other day. And I believe that lack of stress surrounding my wight, helped me to not gain any, rather lose a bit. On my wedding day I looked and felt better than ever...not just because of my weight but because of my mindset.

Are you a bride that is stressed out about weight gain or loss? What are you doing to eliminate this stress? What healthy, realistic steps are you taking to feel your best for your nuptials?
