Weddings in the City

In any city in North and South Carolina you are sure to find a largely developed, slightly developed, or barely developed downtown area. I was born in raised in Charlotte, NC, and the city often provided a nice backdrop to many pictures. Another "pro" to getting married downtown is the proximity of the buildings. The venues for the ceremony and reception are usually in walking distance or can be easily accessed by driving a few blocks in either direction. Have any of you had a wedding in the city?
